Parents spend quality time with kids at the Abraar School Family Fun Day & BBQ
Written by Mahwash FatimaAbraar School held its annual BBQ & Family Fun Day on June 8th, 2013. Parents got a chance to spend quality time with their kids and actively participated in the Olympiad games (potato sack race, three legged race etc.) and the scavenger hunt.
Free henna and face painting, bazaar, a performance by “House of Halal” and a young magician entertained youth and adults alike. The event sponsored by: Chillis restaraunt, Desi Price club, Olive Green, Damas, Infinity Accounting & Tax Services, Muslim Link, Luna Cafe and Shawarma House. All funds raised at the event went towards the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) Focus for the Future project.
