The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia:
The Government of Canada announces the appointment of Isha Khan as Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
Young Canadians are the leaders of tomorrow and leaders of today. They have innovative ideas and unique perspectives on how the government should address opportunities and challenges.
Food banks and local food organizations provide help to Canadians across the country, particularly people and communities most vulnerable to economic uncertainty. These organizations are facing an increased demand for their services, and added pressure from shortages in donations and volunteers. Now more than ever, they need our support to continue offering the services Canadians rely on to feel safe and healthy.
Diversity is Canada's strength and a key element of our national identity.
