Saturday, November 5th, 2022, marks the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, aunt, and cousin, Hodan Hashi, a kind-hearted, smart, caring, and selfless person who was tragically killed, after a violent and public attack that ended her life. We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of Hodan Hashi.

April 12, 2023—Ottawa Communities across Canada continue to welcome Afghans and are helping them settle in to their new homes, as the Government of Canada works toward resettling at least 40,000 Afghan nationals by the end of this year.
As we move through this wondrous month of prayer and reflection, it’s appropriate to remember just how lucky we are.
