Sadaqa Food Bank held its annual Food Festival in McCarthy Park on Saturday, July 6th.
Hundreds of community members from across the city came out to enjoy multicultural cuisine donated by local restaurants. All proceeds from the sale of food went to support Sadaqa Food Bank. Attendees were also encouraged to donate non-perishable food items. Businesses selling everything from Muslim women's fashion to Tunisian dates, also participated in the festival. The event was sponsored by Human Concern International, Home Depot, Ummah Hub-Muslim Crowdfunding, Cody Party Centre, and Circus Delights.
