From gripping dramas to award-winning documentaries, MIFF 2025 showcases the creativity and resilience of Muslim filmmakers around the world. A not-for-profit organization, MIFF is dedicated to uplifting Muslim voices, celebrating creativity, and redefining how Muslim identities are represented on screen.
All films will screen between Friday, October 10 and Monday, October 13, 2025.

Festival Highlights
This year’s program features a powerful lineup of films spanning drama, documentary, and thrillers, including:
It Was Just an Accident — Jafar Panahi | Fresh from winning the Palme d’Or at Cannes, this film is about citizens plotting revenge against a man they believe was their torturer.
All That’s Left of You — Cherien Dabis | In the Occupied West Bank, a teenager’s clash with Israeli soldiers compels his mother to recount their family’s seventy-year journey of exile and resistance.
Kut Al Amara: From Tale to Truth — Koray Demir | A documentary exploring unity and survival during the WWI Siege of Kut al-Amara.
In the Arms of a Tree — Babak KhajehPasha | A family navigating divorce through the eyes of their children.
Algiers — Chakib Taleb-Bendiab | A tense drama about a psychiatrist and inspector solving a child abduction in a fractured city.
Rat Hole — Mohamed El Samman | A woman faces dangerous stakes while racing against an impossible work quota.
