Volunteer with Muslim Community Care Foundation (MCCF)
The Muslim Community Care Foundation is founded on the principle that individuals in our community can only fulfill their life purpose if we help eliminate the barriers that hinder their success. These barriers can include food insecurity, health and wellness issues such, addiction, unemployment, and limited community involvement. Our goal is to provide support and guidance, inspiring individuals to become leaders and role models for others. Driven by our faith, we aim to empower the community to create a better future for all. Many of our professional staff and volunteers are youth, young adults, BIPOC, disabled, seniors, and immigrants. MCCF acknowledges and respects them for who they are and who they will become in the future.
Our team has a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. The more inclusive we are, the better our impact will be to help people in need. The programs and activities will encourage people to develop skills and build confidence so they can reach their full potential and encourage them to keep away from violence and the discrimination that can adversely affect their conduct within society and divert them from the straight path. They can become righteous citizens who will have a sense of belonging in their community and in the future take what they have learned to help others. All programs and activities are open to all individuals regardless of background, religion, belief, race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability.
Our Values:
Compassion: We understand the suffering of others and are fully committed to doing something about it.
Acceptance: We recognize that others have a right to be their own unique persons and accept them for who they are.
Respect: We promote an environment without fear of being judged, humiliated or discriminated against.
Equality: We ensure that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents.
