Muslim Advisory Council of Canada Sales Representative (Commission-Based)
The Muslim Advisory Council of Canada is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to lead the promotion and sales of our training streams to businesses, educational institutions, healthcare providers, public safety organisations, and more. This role is entirely commission-based, offering the flexibility of remote work and the potential for high earnings based on performance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills, experience with selling services, and a passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate leads for our suite of training streams, focusing on anti-Islamophobia, cultural competency and anti-Islamophobia healthcare cultural competency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, including educational institutions, healthcare providers, public safety organisations, corporate entities, and community organisations.
- Present and pitch training solutions to key decision-makers in target sectors.
- Customise sales approaches to meet the specific needs of different client organisations.
- Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the MACC team to ensure the successful delivery of sold training packages.
- Stay up to date on MACC's offerings and initiatives, as well as sector-specific needs and trends.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within a training, education, or service-based environment.
- Strong network and experience selling to one or more of the following sectors: healthcare, education, corporate, non-profit, or public safety.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
- Passion for promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Understanding of Islamophobia, cultural competency, and gender-based violence issues is a strong asset but not required. Training will be provided.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based role. The compensation structure will be highly competitive, with the potential for substantial earnings based on performance.
