Apply to join National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM)’s Research Associate team!
The Research Associate Program offers students and emerging researchers the opportunity to contribute to NCCM’s high-impact advocacy through evidence-based research. Working in small teams, Research Associates will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, develop survey tools, and draft reports that inform NCCM’s policy and community engagement initiatives. From January to June, each team will produce 2–3 research reports exploring issues related to equity, civil liberties, and human rights in Canada.
Qualifications:
Current university student or recent graduate
Able to commit 4–6 hours per week
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
Excellent ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Collaborative team player who can also work independently
Commitment: 4–6 hours per week
Term: January – June 2026
