
Muslim Neighbour Nexus Programs Coordinator
The Muslim Neighbour Nexus Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting all MNN programs from planning to execution to post-program review.
You will work closely with the Program Leadership Team and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of events and initiatives that serve the community.
Key Responsibilities:
The Program coordinator is expected to support the Program Leadership Team with any tasks involved in their individual programs, as needed. These tasks include but are not limited to:
- Program Planning and scheduling
- Liaising with relevant teams and 3rd parties
- Volunteer management
- Social media promotion and analytics
- Onsite support during the events
- Managing expenses and reimbursements
- Post event feedback
Additionally, the Coordinator is also responsible for managing the schedule and appointments for the scholars in the religious committee, and seeking their responses to questions sent in by community members. Additional tasks beyond the above mentioned may be assigned by the Programs Lead as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, or a similar administrative role (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple events or tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable liaising with external stakeholders and volunteers.
- Familiarity with expense tracking or administrative tasks.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
- Tech-savvy (Google Suite, MS Office, Zoom, Social Media Analytics, etc.)
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
