Flag Raising on Parliament Hill for Lebanese Heritage Month

On November 7, 2024, the Lebanese flag was raised high in the skies of Ottawa in a national celebration in the courtyard of the Canadian Parliament.
The Canadian government has been represented by Immigration Minister Marc Miller, Labour Minister Steven Mackinnon, and a large number of delegates. Heads of sects, patrons, religious, party, community, student institutions, and a large number of community members also participated.
The artist Jana Salama sang the Canadian and Lebanese anthems.
