About Uthman ibn Farooq:
Shaykh Uthman ibn Farooq was born in Pakistan and is from the Pashtun tribe, Yusufzai, but grew up in California from a young age. He began practicing and studying Islam in his later teenage years and was inspired to seek Islamic knowledge abroad by ash- Shaikh Dr. Awad al-Garguri. For the next ten years Sh. Uthman would continue to balance his secular and Islamic studies, earning a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, an executive MBA in technology management, while attaining traditional Ijāzāt (accreditation) in classic Islamic texts from qualified Islamic scholars, such as ash-Shaikh Dr. Yusuf Mishaʿal (Ph.D. Umm al-Qura) and ash-Shaikh Dr. Sādiq al-Manna (Ph.D. Umm al-Qura).
His travels in search of Islamic knowledge would take him to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the UAE. He has attained multiple Ijazat in books of Hanbali Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Ḥadith, Mustalah al- Hadith and a Master’s degree in Hadith sciences. He currently is the Imam of Masjid Al-Ribat in San Diego, CA.
About Sheikh Riad Ouarzazi:
Sheikh Riad Ouarzazi, based in Toronto, Canada, is a seasoned Islamic scholar with over 30 years of teaching and leadership experience. Known for his engaging teaching style, he connects with diverse audiences, including new Muslims and seasoned practitioners. He is a member of the Canadian Council of Imams and serves as the Director of Religious Affairs at ICNA Canada. Sheikh Riad has taught with organizations like Al-Maghrib Institute and conducted successful fundraisers worldwide He has delivered lectures and seminars across countries like the USA, UK, Norway, Malaysia, and South Africa, addressing audiences of up to 5,000 at events like the Scandinavian Peace Conference.
A frequent guest on TV channels including Islam Channel, Ramadan TV, and Guide US TV, Sheikh Riad has also led numerous live appeals and continues to inspire through his global outreach efforts.
About Imam Hamza Ragab
Imam Hamza Ragab, a scholar in Islamic studies and a pre-med student, was raised in a blend of cultures in Brooklyn, New York. By the age of thirteen, he had memorized the Quran and received his ijaza in its recitation of Hafs An Asim. He furthered his Islamic studies at Al Azhar University he delved into the depths of Usool Hadith, earning his associate degree and expanding his understanding of the words and actions of the Prophet Muhammad(SAW). Parallel to his studies at Al Azhar University, Hamza also undertook courses at the University of Minnesota, focusing on Islamic studies and Usool Al-deen.
Alongside his religious studies, Imam Hamza is pursuing a career in dentistry at Augusta University, showcasing his dual commitment to faith and academia. His blend of religious and secular education broadens perspectives and deepens understanding, allowing him to reach a diverse audience.
