Sharry Aiken is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Queen's University. She has been a recipient of research and conference funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. She is a former president of the Canadian Council for Refugees, a member of the CCR's Legal Affairs Committee and past co-chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for International Justice. She is also a member of the Canadian Association for the Study of Forced Migration.
Sean Rehaag is an Associate Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School and is a Faculty Affiliate with York University's Centre for Refugee Studies. He has done paid consulting work with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, and has served as an unpaid expert witness in constitutional litigation involving refugee issues and human rights. He is a member of refugee rights organizations such as the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and the Refugee Lawyers Association, as well as several academic organizations such as Canadian Association of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies and the International Association for the Study of Forced Migration. He currently holds research funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
