Montreal, May 6, 2024 — Canadian human rights organizations today issued recommendations for Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy to ensure that the federal government is effectively addressing both anti-Palestinian racism and antisemitism.

Montreal, February 10, 2024 — Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) is incensed to learn that Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly has been deliberately misleading the Canadian public in claiming that Canada hasn’t sent weapons to Israel since Oct. 7, whereas new information reveals the opposite.

We, the undersigned civil society organizations, have profound concerns about the legal and humanitarian implications of Canada’s transfer of weapon systems to the government of Israel. These concerns have only been amplified following the January 26th provisional ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) is outraged by Canada’s refusal to support South Africa’s application to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel.
