Muslim Hands Canada is hiring a Finance and Administrative Officer in Mississauga, Ontario.
Full-time Hours 40 hours/week
Based at Mississauga, Canada
Salary $50,000 - $55,000 CAD
Job Summary:
The Finance and Administrative Officer is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the organization, including accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, fund transfers, audit support, and general accounting duties.
The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in bookkeeping, accounting software, and financial procedures. The Finance and Administrative Officer will also assist with donor communications and collaborate with the team on organizational activities wherever needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar finance or accounts role is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
