Nisa Foundation, a registered charity since 2019, combines two projects: Nisa Helpline and Nisa Homes

Nisa Helpline

When a Muslim woman finds herself in a crisis, Nisa Helpline is her lifeline. Our helpline isn't just about immediate counsel—it's a beacon of hope, trust, and responsibility. Every call is answered with respect and compassion, ensuring that no voice goes unheard, no concern overlooked. Through each conversation, we pave the way for healing, growth, and resilience.

Nisa Homes

Nisa Homes isn't just a shelter; it's a sanctuary. Rooted in justice, respect, and compassion, we provide Muslim women and children a safe haven from adversities, offering them tools and opportunities for self-development. We believe that by uplifting women in their most vulnerable moments, we're not just changing individual lives, but shaping brighter futures for communities.

There are currently shelters run by Nisa Foundation in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Windsor, Hamilton, Toronto, Mississauga, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

At Nisa Foundation, we envision communities transformed by the power and potential of women. When women succeed, we all do. They are a driving force towards healthier homes, children, families, and communities.

Nisa Homes

Nisa Homes is the first and only transitional home for Immigrant, Refugee and Muslim women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We are a safe haven for women experiencing domestic violence, poverty, homelessness or seeking asylum. This home is a centre of empowerment where the vulnerable are given hope, where the broken are rebuilt and the helpless are given their dignity.
Nisa Homes are currently based in Windsor, ON and Vancouver, BC.
