Action Alert #21
Ask Prime Minister Trudeau to Intervene on Behalf of Palestinian Canadian Mansour Shouman, Abducted by IDF
According to the campaign, Bring Mansour Home, "Mansour Shouman, a Palestinian-Canadian father, son, and humanitarian was abducted on January 23rd, 2024 while traveling from Khan Younis to Rafah in Gaza. His work involved directly reporting from Gaza and providing aid to displaced and injured citizens impacted by the relentless campaign of violence by the IDF against Palestinians."
The Bring Mansour Home campaign is calling on Canadians to send an email to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, Immigration Minister Marc Miller, the Premier of Alberta Danielle Smith, as Mansour is from Calgary, and your own local Member of Parliament and your own Member of Provincial Parliament demanding the following:
"I demand that the Government of Canada takes immediate action by contacting counterparts in Israel to confirm Mansour’s whereabouts, his immediate release and safe evacuation from the Middle East."
