Montreal, January 4, 2023 — Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) condemns the arbitrary restrictions that the Canadian government has imposed on its family reunification measures vis-à-vis Gaza, which were announced on December 21, 2023.

Members of the Afzaal family, along with community leaders and representatives from the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), held a press conference this Thursday morning at the Courthouse in London, Ontario before victim and community impact statements are made during the sentencing of the terrorist who carried out the London terror attack in June 2021.

Effective immediately, we have severed our business relationship with CHFC.

Like you, we refuse to stay silent in the face of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza, its horrific attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, and its bombing of Lebanon.

Justice For All Canada commends South Africa for its courageous step in seeking justice at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for Israel's unfolding genocidal actions in Gaza. This move aligns with state responsibilities under international law to defend human rights and prevent mass atrocities worldwide. It also sets critical legal precedence and an important example for Canada and other nations to take similar actions in holding the Israeli state accountable.
