Special performances at the Mosquers this year will be by Arab American rapper, poet, chaplain and activist Mona Haydar. Spoken word poetry will be by Somali Canadian spoken word poet and 2016 Edmonton Slam Team Champion Timiro Mohamed. The evening will be hosted by Toronto-based stand up Egyptian Canadian comedian Salma Hindy.
