Join the Islamic Social Services Association for a free Muslim-Indigenous solidarity gathering in recognition of Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This event will bring Indigenous and Muslim communities together to remember the children who never returned home, honour Survivors and their families, and reflect on our shared responsibilities in the work of truth, reconciliation, and healing.
The gathering will include ceremonies, cultural teachings, prayers, shared stories, games, food, and meaningful conversations. Community members of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
