“The Land Remembers: Palestine, 1948-2026” is a journey through memory, loss, resilience, and hope. This art exhibit bears witness to the story of Palestine — its land, its people, its enduring culture - through art and artistic expression, archives and heritage, and collective memory.
Each artwork, heritage object, and story that you will encounter in this exhibit is more than a public display; it is an act of resistance against erasure.
The exhibit invites you to listen deeply, reflect openly, and carry these voices with you.
“The Land Remembers” exhibit is led by the new collective “Manitoba Women for Palestine” with support of collaborators. There are contributions from Palestinian and other local artists, activists, and educators.
The exhibit runs January 9, 2026 to February 28, 2026, at MHC Gallery, Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg MB.
