SFU Publishing presents the 2025 Jim Douglas Lecture, Voices from Under the Rubble, an evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning Palestinian poet and essayist Mosab Abu Toha.
Toha's writing has appeared in New Yorker and the New York Times, and he is the author of two books of poetry, including Forest of Noise, named one of NYT’s 100 Notable Books of 2024.
Toha's talk and presentation of his poetry will be followed by a Q&A with him. Moderated by Stephen Collis, poet and Chair of SFU’s English department
