ISNA Canada University Info Fair

Join ISNA Canada on Saturday, October 3rd for their first ever “University Info Fair," in which we aim to provide High School students with an experience that will help them decide on which university they want to attend, and which academic background to base their careers on.

In collaboration with MIST, MYNA, and Seeds of Leadership, this event will feature the following:

1- Booths for numerous Muslim Students’ Associations (MSA’s) from campuses around the region. MSA’s will inform attendees about the resources and accommodations available to Muslim students at their respective campuses, as well as the programming delivered by the MSA such as juma’a prayers, iftars, halaqas, and volunteer opportunities.
2- An inspiring talk by Imam Yasin Dwyer, highlighting the significance of education in Islam, and encouraging attendees to strive for Ihsaan (excellence) and go beyond simply completing a program to secure a job.

3- A “How to choose your career” workshop delivered by our partners at Seeds of Leadership.

4- A workshop delivered by our partners at Kalam Power, focused on the prophetic method of networking.

5- Insights from select Muslim academics and students who have innovated and achieved distinction in their respective fields of study, sharing their experiences and empowering attendees to aim high.

Through these efforts, we aim to equip attendees with the knowledge they need to make their decisions ahead of the deadline for university applications.
