Ebru Art: A Dance of Colors on Water
Ebru, also known as water marbling, is an ancient Turkish art form that captivates with its enchanting beauty. This technique involves floating pigments on the surface of water and carefully manipulating them into intricate patterns. The results are ethereal, resembling vibrant, swirling galaxies or delicate blooming flowers. Each creation is a unique masterpiece, reflecting the harmonious interplay between the artist and the water. Ebru is not just a visual art—it’s a meditative journey where colors dance and blend to create stunning compositions.
Hacer Özcan is a seasoned practitioner of Ebru with years of experience. She has conducted numerous Ebru classes, workshops, and masterclasses in Toronto, sharing her passion for this ancient art with eager learners of all ages.
