This course explores the in-depth Tafseer of Surah Al-Jumu’ah and Surah Al-Munafiqun, two chapters of the Qur’an frequently recited by the Prophet ﷺ during the Friday prayer. Through studying classical Tafseer sources alongside contemporary reflections, students will engage with the Qur’an’s timeless wisdom and how it applies to the struggles and challenges of the modern world. Topics such as the unity of the Ummah, the dangers of hypocrisy, and the centrality of the Friday prayer will be explored. This course not only offers intellectual understanding but also encourages personal reflection and practical action, empowering individuals to strengthen their connection to the Qur’an and contribute positively to the state of the global Muslim community.
