About the Cause

This special event is a collaborative fundraiser by Human Concern International (HCI) and the Academy of Martial Arts, led by head instructor Sensei Salhia — bringing together strength, discipline, and purpose. Participants will take part in an engaging martial arts class where they’ll learn foundational techniques, basic self-defense, and build confidence through movement and resilience.

Proceeds from this class will support HCI’s Gaza Winter Relief Initiative, providing urgent, life-saving aid to families facing extreme cold and harsh living conditions. With many homes destroyed and limited access to supplies, thousands of displaced families are enduring winter without proper shelter, warm clothing, or basic necessities.

Through this initiative, HCI is delivering essential winter support, including:

• Waterproof tents to provide dry, secure shelter from rain and wind
• Warm winter clothing to protect children and families from freezing temperatures
• Basic necessities to help families survive the winter months with dignity
