Basira Education at Ar-Rashaad Centre: Why Islam is True.

Assalamu-Alaikum,

BASIRA EDUCATION just announced it's pilot on-the-ground Youth Seminary for young Muslims in the GTA hosted by Ar-Rashaad Center in Brampton, Ontario.

The goal of the Basira Youth Seminary is to establish a 4-year part-time educational program for high-school and College/University students that focuses on critical thinking, the intelligent application of the Muslim scholarly tradition to contemporary challenges, and religious inspiration.

The first year will focus on rational arguments for the truth of Islam, a unique in-depth study of the life of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) that focuses on how we know he is really God’s messenger, on how to respond to contemporary objections against Islam, a detailed study of the rules of worship, and Islamic spirituality.

The seminary is taught by Shaykh Hamza Karamali's long-time student, Muhammad Elmarouk, who also teaches intensives on manhood from an Islamic perspective. He’s an up-and-coming scholar who has also mastered calligraphy and is a Jiu Jitsu martial arts expert.

Seating is limited to only 20 students for this pilot project.
