Camp Deen at Christie Lake August 20 to 26 Registration

Camp Deen is an annual 6-day overnight Muslim summer camp for boys and girls ages 7-17 at Christie Lake Campgrounds on August 20-26, 2023.

We are a welcoming, non-denominational Muslim camp that encourages empathy and inclusivity. We strive for everyone to leave camp enriched in the spirit of being a Canadian-Muslim with new friends, appreciation for their faith, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Beautiful Christie Lake on 88 acres of land in Eastern Ontario, one hour north of Kingston
Christie Lake Campgrounds, 1264 Althorpe Road, Westport, ON, K0G 1X0

• 24 hour on-call nurses on site
• Certified lifeguards and life jackets on site
• 3 hardy, halal meals plus snacks prepared by professional kitchen staff
• Gluten-free, allergy, and illness accommodations
• 24 hour counsellor, senior staff, and night-watch supervision
• Basketball court, soccer field, baseball diamond, volleyball court, rock climbing wall, mountain biking, and more!

History:

Founded in 1973, Camp Deen began when Muslim immigrants in Toronto longed for a wholesome camp experience for their children. Fifty years later, we are proudly still running as a grassroots, non-profit, community-led summer camp for Canadian-Muslim children to feel a sense of community, friendship, and practice their spirituality in a safe, beautiful environment.

Registration:
