Understanding and Countering the Threat of Right-wing Extremism in Canada.

The Centre on Hate, Bias, and Extremism, in partnership with the Ontario Police College, will be hosting two informative one-day workshops to assist in creating partnerships between police services and community organizations to better assist in understanding and addressing right-wing extremism. Workshops will consist of lectures from leading experts and thought-provoking discussions pertaining to the contours of right-wing extremism, experiences with addressing right-wing extremism, and initiatives tackling right-wing extremism. The first workshop will be held at McEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta on March 13th,

2023. The second workshop is to be held at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario on March 27th, 2023. If you are interested in attending either workshop, please see the registration link below.
