Between Intuition and Intention: Writing Workshop
Between Intuition and Intention is a participatory writing workshop that engages the role of love in art writing. Participants are invited to bring a piece of their writing, or one by a writer they admire, and be prepared to describe an art work that resonated while reading or writing this text. For the exercise, we’ll discuss and share in a group setting how and why it’s important to write through what we are not able to forget, intuitively but intentionally. As writers, how do we engage love in writing as the relation between intuition and intention? What are the limits of language in articulating the personal, experiential, and embodied forms of knowledge that love generates?
