About the Speaker: Khaled Sultan is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Islamic finance. He currently serves as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager, leading Canada’s first Shariah-compliant advisory practice at one of the country’s largest banks. His career includes roles at a top investment bank focusing on precious metals, managing a firm providing research in the energy sector, and leadership positions at ExxonMobil and Imperial Oil. Khaled holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designations and is pursuing a doctorate in ethical finance. He has also served on several charitable and non-profit boards.
