Global Stitches – Tatreez Cohort: Palestinian Embroidery Series

We’re excited to welcome the next group of participants into our Global Stitches program! This cohort will explore the ancestral Palestinian art of Tatreez – an embroidery tradition rich with history, symbolism, and storytelling.

Through guided sessions, participants will stitch, share, and connect, preserving cultural heritage one thread at a time. Whether you’re new to embroidery or experienced in needlework, this series offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and engage with community.

Dates: July 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th from 11 AM to 1 PM
Cost: $50 for the full cohort (Eventbrite fees not included). All proceeds go to the Canada Palestine Cultural Association (CPCA).

The sessions will be offered bilingually in English and Arabic. Ages 12+
