Lubna Zaeem
Lubna Zaeem is a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting the mental health of immigrants, newcomers, and the Muslim community. She holds advanced credentials in counselling and Islamic psychology and has led impactful trainings and initiatives in collaboration with government, law enforcement, and community leaders. A nationally recognized leader, Lubna is a recipient of the Governor General’s Sovereign
Medal for Volunteers. She currently serves as Clinical Director at IslamicFamily.
Naheed Amjad-Minhas
Naheed Amjad-Minhas, a compassionate Counselling Therapist and Advanced Grief Recovery Method specialist, is dedicated to ending family violence and providing support to immigrant, newcomer, and refugee families. Her outstanding work has been recognized with the Peace in Families Award in 2018 and the Inspiration Award from the Government of Alberta in 2022. She currently serves as the Fostering Healthy Families (FHF) Lead at IslamicFamily.
