Building Safer Communities: A StopHate AB Workshop

​Join us for an empowering and practical training focused on creating safer communities for all. This StopHate AB-developed workshop will provide participants with the tools and knowledge to support victims of hate crimes—whether in the moment or afterward.

​Together, we’ll explore:

• ​How to safely deescalate a perpetrator

• ​Ways to recognize and navigate our own internal barriers to intervention

• ​Tangible strategies for offering support to those affected by hate

• ​How to report hate crimes and access further resources

​Whether you’ve experienced hate yourself or want to be a stronger ally, this workshop offers skills that help us all stand up, speak out, and support each other more effectively.
