Sound Vision Canada is pleased to offer teachers and parents an exciting learning opportunity with Runda Ebeid, paediatric occupational therapist.
The online session will focus on responding to challenging behaviour in children. We will share insights on how to address these behaviours in a way that promotes self-regulation, strengthens the connection with caregivers, and fosters healthy development.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- The underlying reasons for children’s behaviour
- Classroom strategies to support students with ADHD
- Parenting strategies for holistic support at home
Runda Ebied is a mother and a paediatric occupational therapist. Runda currently works with children with various needs (sensory, attention, emotional, learning, and physical) and works closely with their families and teachers to support their needs. Runda also has extensive experience working in mental health for individuals across the lifespan. Using a compassionate, holistic and evidence-based approach in her work, Runda aims to support children with their various needs, as well as to empower teachers and parents with the resources, tools and skills to enable them to better understand and support the needs of the children they are caring for. Runda provides professional development training to teachers across Canada and delivers workshops to parents to equip them with the resources and tools to support their children. Runda is currently in the process of becoming a psychotherapist.
