Aviva's name comes from a Spanish translation for 'enliven'. Founded in 2001 by Nathan Zassman, a Nutritional Therapist, we operate a retail centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and are proud to serve Canadian, American, and international customers through our website.

Trained as a medical doctor in China, Dr. Ganlu Lou-Zassman is a medical researcher with publications in the field of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease included in Pubmed and Medline. In addition to her MD, Ganlu has an M.Sc. in Pharmacology from the University of Manitoba. Her strong scientific background is valuable when working with natural products and understanding the research supporting their health benefits.
