Kaleed Rasheed, MPP for Mississauga East-Cooksville

My name is Kaleed Rasheed and I am your Member of Provincial Parliament for Mississauga East-Cooksville. I have lived in Mississauga East-Cooksville for over 15 years. I have chosen this riding to bring up my family and I am privileged to represent and voice the concerns of the people living here.

I graduated from the University of Guelph (Guelph-Humber) with a degree in Business Administration and received my MBA from the University of Bradford. Prior to entering politics, I worked in banking, telecommunications and the service sector. Previously, I worked as the top Enterprise Account Executive at BlackBerry.

I am a family oriented individual who wants to look out for all Ontarians. I personally have four children, so I understand the need to create a brighter future for them and other children in our province.

As long time community advocate, I am very passionate about my involvement with local organizations and causes. I am interested in bringing my technological background into my work as an MPP, to help create policies that will protect Ontarians online.

I am a member of the Provincial Conservative Party of Ontario.
