Markham and Lawrence Community United

We are the Markham & Lawrence Community United (MLCU); a registered non-profit, grassroots organization. Established in 2014 under Markham & Lawrence Youth United (MLYU) our organization grew and so did our vision. In 2021, MLYU was rebranded and transformed into MLCU, to fulfill the needs and wants of our community.

Our vision is to see an energetic, safe, and flourishing community where members can build meaningful lifelong connections. Through mentorship we want to create opportunities for capacity building; engaging and connecting members of the community through sports, life skills building, educational and professional development, spirituality, health and wellbeing.
