Ontario Muslim Academy

Ontario Muslim Academy (OMA) is established by a team of qualified Huffaaz, Ulamaa, as well as College and University graduates. The main purpose of this team is to provide Muslim children, youth and adults (male and females) proper religious and secular education and training in an Islamic environment, Inshahallah. OMA is a non profit, charitable, religious organization. It is incorporated as a charitable organization with the provincial government of Ontario. The registration application with the government of Canada is in process. OMA is striving towards establishing an educational institute in which Muslims of all ages may acquire Islamic as well as secular education and develop an Islamic personality. Alhamdulillah, we started out first program in November 2007 with only four students. With the help of Allah we presently have 30 students in our Tahfeez and day school programs. OMA has also established a Muslim hockey league with about 30 participants. Our goal is to have as many activities as possible designed for the Muslim youth of today because “The Muslim youth of today are the future of Islam tomorrow”. In order for us to cater to the Muslim community and conduct our services, we currently require a larger facility that will accommodate more students as well as have more resources. This website is intended to update our generous donors and well wishers, and to encourage them and others to donate generously of the pleasure of Allah.
