Imam Imran Ally (Shaykh Abu Musa) was born in Guyana, South America and migrated to Canada in mid 2000. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies from the Islamic Call University, Tripoli, Libya in 1998.
Currently, he is the Imam of the Toronto and Region Islamic Congregation (TARIC Islamic Centre) and has been in this service to the community since August of 2000.
Imam Imran, in addition to the duties of the Imam at TARIC, performs pre-marital counselling and Muslim marriages, conducts counselling for spouses and families.
He co-ordinates educational programs for Muslims and Islamic information programs for other faith groups and provides his services for all other needs of the community.
Imam Imran volunteers as a member of the board of directors of the Ontario Multifaith Council (OMC), as a member of the national advisory board of the Canadian Association of Muslims with Disabilities (CAM-D) and the Muslim Chaplain at the University of Toronto, Mississauga campus (UTM).
