Muhsen is a nonprofit organization serving families and individuals with intellectual, mental, and physical disabilities.
Muhsen works to establish inclusive and accessible North American Muslim communities for individuals with disabilities and their families.
We do this through engaging in community advocacy and education (Awareness) and implementing and encouraging programs and services (Accommodation), leading ultimately to inclusive and welcoming communities (Acceptance).
Your local chapter is more than a point of contact; it’s a hub for resources, support, and inclusion. Chapter leads are dedicated to ensuring individuals with disabilities and their families are welcomed, included, and supported in every aspect of community life.
Whether you’re looking for adaptive programming for children or adults with special needs, finding more information on certifying your local masjid or general volunteer opportunities and workshop, we encourage you to reach out to your local chapter lead today.
We’re ready to listen, help and connect you with the initiatives that matter most to you.
