Salam is a Carleton University club aimed to revive and represent the Arabian Culture as means of uniting all Arabs through highlighting our shared qualities of language, culture and authenticity. Salam seeks to represent and honour all 22 countries of the Arab world. Algeria – Bahrain - Comoros - Djibouti – Egypt – Iraq – Jordan - Kuwait – Lebanon – Libya – Mauritania – Morocco – Oman – Palestine - Qatar - Saudi Arabia - Somalia – Sudan – Syria - Tunisia - United Arab Emirates – Yemen Founded in 2008 by a group of Arab students in Carleton University led by Ahmed Kasim Rashid, Salam provided services and iconic events like Arabian Night and shall continue to do so with a new team.
