A city councillor for the Marie-Clarac district and vice-chair of the Commission de la sécurité publique, Abdelhaq Sari is a dynamic and committed man whose calling is to help the Bourassa community.
Passionate about the close relationships he builds with his fellow citizens, he works to improve their daily lives, safety and well-being.
Defined as a “grassroots” man, meetings with families, merchants and local organizations are central to his priorities. He relies on close relationships to listen to and understand the issues of all the people he represents.
With a deep sense of humanity, Abdelhaq knows how to connect with the Bourassa community, regardless of the origin and culture of his fellow citizens. In recent years, he has been heavily involved in the community sector as vice-president and former president of Soleil des orphelins, an organization that helps orphans in Africa and Canada. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he collaborated with Bourassa relief groups to help those in need by offering emotional and moral support, answering questions, and distributing food baskets and masks.
For Abdelhaq, Bourassa is a resilient community with an exemplary support network. This inspires him every day and is the reason why he wants to make a difference for his fellow citizens and help them thrive in Montréal. Abdelhaq is proud to be your Liberal candidate in Bourassa and looks forward to representing you in Ottawa.
