Maison Afghane-Canadienne (MAFCAN) is a non-profit organization based in Montreal / Canada. All its activities are carried out without any monetary benefits to its members and all its funds and accretions are to be used to promote its objectives. OUR OBJECTIVES: Support the successful integration of new Afghan-Canadians into society; Increase the self-sufficiency of people emotionally, economically, physically or educationally disadvantaged; Protect and assist youth, women and elderly Afghans at risk by encouraging volunteerism, leadership and civic education; Organize and provide religious services and instructions; Promote art, culture, education, intercultural understanding, and Canadian values; Act as an effective communication bridge between communities; Acquire, for the aforementioned purposes, funds or other property through public fundraising.
