Arifa Chanda - Family Lawyer

Arifa Chanda is a lawyer serving Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, and Guelph Ontario. After her call to the Ontario Bar in 2016, Arifa has been dealing with various aspects of family law, such as divorce, custody, access, support, and property division. She also assisted her clients in child protection proceedings. 

Like any other matter, family matters can also be resolved by way of entering into domestic contracts. Arifa assists her clients to negotiate and enter into marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements,  and separation agreements. She also provides Independent Legal Advice.

Arifa assists the clients, from the start to the finish of their family matters. She keeps her clients informed about every step of the process so that her clients can understand what is happening at each stage and make an informed decision.

In addition to providing services as a family lawyer, Arifa also assists the clients to prepare their wills and powers of attorney. 

Arifa also practiced as a lawyer in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Pakistan for 8 years. She is able to assist the clients needing legal services in these cities of Pakistan by connecting them with reputed lawyers.

Arifa is a panel member of the Legal Aid Ontario for its family, domestic violence, and child protection panels.

Being fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi languages, Arifa is able to serve the clients from these linguistic backgrounds.
