Gamal Abdel-Shehid is an associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. He is the author of Who Da Man: Black Masculinities and Sporting Cultures and co-author of Out of Left Field: Social Inequality and Sport with Nathan Kalman-Lamb.
