Islamic Relief has been on the ground, operating in Palestine since 1997. We have offices with staff and volunteers who continuously stockpile supplies as part of our Disaster Preparedness Plan to be able to immediately respond in the event of an emergency.
Our team and partners are currently distributing these limited supplies while they await approval for the entry of further humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Islamic Relief Canada transfers funds to the Islamic Relief Worldwide office located in the United Kingdom, who then transfer funds to local partners on the ground in Gaza.

Our team in Gaza works with local humanitarian partner organizations that have extensive experience in delivering emergency aid and long-term development in the region.
We also coordinate closely with other international humanitarian organizations and UN agencies working in Gaza to make the overall humanitarian response as effective and coordinated as possible.
