The gala will showcase the finest of Muslim talent, passion, and determination and will be hosted by Omar Sachedina, Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor for CTV's national evening newscast CTV National News.
The theme of this year’s gala is Weaving the Thread of Excellence: Celebrating excellence among Canadian Muslims. MAX aims to recognize, celebrate, and motivate high achievement, along with positive and productive contributions to society by Muslims in Canada.

Established in 2016, MAX holds a series of events throughout the year focusing on academic and professional development, mentorship, entrepreneurship, women in leadership, board training, and business leadership. The gala highlights the best of the best in MAX and recognizes various contributions by Muslims to Canada as leaders in all areas of business, science, art, technology, journalism, media, and healthcare.
