Toronto Area Imams Play Soccer to Fundraise for Sports for Youth with Disabilities

What do Imams and soccer have in common?

They are coming together to raise money for youth with disabilities!

Everyone should be able to access sports and recreation activities- but for youth with disabilities, this is not always the case.

Sharing the vision that children and youth with and without disabilities all have the right to play, we are excited to announce that Muslim Youth Soccer League (MYSL) and DEEN Support Services have joined together to launch AccessKix.

AccessKix is a community based soccer program that includes modified training sessions and games for children and youth with disabilities.

The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to everyone in the community, who has a developmental or physical disability.

Seventeen imams and community leaders in the Greater Toronto Area and neighbouring cities are coming together to fundraise for AccessKix.

The Second Imams Charity Game will be played on December 8th, 2018 at 4 PM at the Canlan Sportplex in Mississauga.

Imams and community leaders from the GTA and surrounding cities are excited to play for this worthy cause.
