Check Out the 10th Annual Mosquers Film Festival This Saturday
Written by The Mosquers FestivalThe Mosquers Film Festival will be screening films from across Canada and the globe. The festival will take place Saturday, October 13th at the Winspear Centre.
The Mosquers in a non-profit and was started to combat misconceptions about Islam and Muslims, demonstrate our diversity, and provide a channel for talented individuals to express themselves. We are a film festival that aims to educate, entertain and build bridges through showcasing talent and the diverse Muslim experience. Year after year, the festival pursues new ways to introduce both Muslims and non-Muslims to the most original and authentic storytelling. It attracts talent from across the world. This year we will be displaying 10 finalist short films from over 40 submissions around the world. Our event is hosted by comedian Omar Regan, and our entertainers are poet Amir Suleiman, and rapper Brother Ali.
