Learn about Halal Investing with Investment Advisor Sameer Azam at Two Events in Mississauga This November

Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) Sameer Azam is presenting two information sessions on investing with the Muslim Neighbour Nexus in Mississauga this November.

Sameer is an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities where he specializes in guiding his clients to Shariah-compliant investments.

On top of being an experienced Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Investment Advisor, Sameer is also an active member of the Responsible Investment Association of Canada (RIA). The RIA is Canada’s membership association for Responsible Investment (RI) which promotes the practice of responsible investing and positive societal impact in Canada.

On November 16, Sameer will be giving a presentation on Halal Investing 101. This will include a discussion on how to make investments that are Shariah-compliant, as well as different methods of calculating Zakat on investments. Seats are limited so registration is required. On November 30, Sameer will be giving a presentation on Charitable Giving. Attendees will learn how to maximize the advantages, both to themselves and to the charitable organizations that they donate to. Seats are limited so registration is required. This Event will be rescheduled.
